Admission
_1. St. Benedict's Academy is a Catholic School following the Dominican charism. Admission to SBA is open to Catholic and Non-Catholic applicants who respect Catholic teachings and practices.
2. The Admissions Committee admits new students on the basis of the results of their entrance tests, interviews, scholastic records, and other related requirements.
3. Applicants are accepted on a first come - first served basis, Transferees are accepted based on the number of available slots.
4. Entrance Exams are held on scheduled dates and no further entrance exams will be administered after the placement exams are over. Test results will be held strictly confidential. The Office will not release any interpretation of any test results, scores or descriptions for any application whether he/she has passed or failed the exams. Decisions in all admissions in the Pre-School, Grade School and High School are made by the School Principal.

Returning students who wish to enroll in SBA after studying in another school wold have to meet the requirements demanded from new students regarding admission, provided that they have no failing marks. Students of SBA who have been failed or sent out due to academic or conduct deficiency shall be denied readmission to SBA.
6. Rules Governing Tuition Fees
a. When a student enrolls in SBA, it is understood that he is enrolling for the entire school year.
b. A pupil or student is deemed officially enrolled after he has submitted his appropriate admission or transfer credentials and has made an initial payment of his school fees.
c. A downpayment for 2 months tuition fees, months computer fees, and miscellaneous fees must be paid upon enrollment. Enrollment form must be properly and completely filled out with correct date.
d. Discount
e. Promissory Notes should be filled in the office one week before the examinations. No promissory note will be entertained during examination days.

7. Withdrawals/Dropouts/Transfers
A pupil/student who transfers or otherwise withdraws in writing, within two weeks after the beginning of classes and who has already paid the pertinent tuition and other school fees in full or for any length longer than one month may be charged ten percent (10%) of the total amount due for the term if he withdraws within the first week of classes or 20% if within the second week of classes regardless of whether or not he has actually attended classes. The student may be charged all school fees in full if he withdrawal is due to a justifiable reason, the pupil/student shall be charged the pertinent fees only up to and including the last month of attendance. (Sec. 66, Manual of Regulations for Private Schools 8th ed. 1992)
8. Withholding of Credentials
The release of the transfer credentials of any pupil or student may be withheld for reasons of suspension, expulsion or nonpayment of financial obligations or property responsibility of the pupil or student to the school. The credential shall be released as soon as his obligations shall have been settled or the penalty of suspension or expulsion lifted. (Sec. 72, Manual of Regulations for Private Schools, 8th ed. 1992)
9. Reservation
At the end of the third quarter, a survey is conducted to find out who among students will enroll for the following school year. Paid reservation fees are deductible from the tuition fees for the following school year. The reservation is an assurance for the school and the child that a slot is already allotted for him/her for the following school year. If the reserved pupil/student decides to transfer to another school, he/she is liable to pay the reserved books and school supplies for them.

- Salutatorian - 50% monthly tuition fee
- 5 Siblings studying in SBA - 1 is freee of monthly tuition fee
- 5% discount on tuition fees - for full payment of fees
